Montepaone concludes second Festival del Teatro

The second edition of the Festival del Teatro in Montepaone has concluded with a final awards ceremony at the Arena Nausicaa. The event, organized by the cultural association ‘Finché Palco Non Ci Separi’, focused on amateur theatre and local dialect performances.

Pierluigi Tortora served as the guest of honor, performing ‘Tragicomica Serenata’, a production centered on Neapolitan poetic traditions. The festival's jury presented several awards: Valeria Capolupo (I Commedianti) won best actress, Gino Capolupo (I Commedianti) won best actor, and Giovanni Voci (Theatron) won best character actor. The company ‘Miglierinese’ received the festival's top honors, winning best direction, best scenography, and the Grand Prize.

The event was hosted by Stefania De Marco and Fausto Bellone. Following the success of this summer season, the organizers are planning a winter series and a third edition of the festival.
