Montepulciano announces program for 52nd Bravìo delle Botti

The official program for the 52nd edition of the Bravìo delle Botti has been presented in Montepulciano. The event is scheduled to take place from Friday, August 21, to Sunday, August 30, 2026.

During the presentation at the Palazzo Comunale, Montepulciano Mayor Michele Angiolini, Reggitrice Irene Bettollini, and Councilor Gianluca Fè emphasized the festival's role in representing the city's identity. The event features a competition between eight 'contrade' (districts) along an uphill route held in honor of the city's patron, San Giovanni Decollato.

The 2026 edition marks the beginning of work for a new Management Council led by Irene Bettollini. The organizers aim to balance tradition with modern communication, utilizing digital tools and video to reach an international audience. A new poster for the event was also unveiled, created by artist Giuseppe Ragazzini.
