Montería advances plans for new Camilo Torres Hospital
The construction of the new Camilo Torres Hospital in Montería, Colombia, is moving into its management and preparation phase. The project, led by the Mayor's Office of Montería and the E.S.E. VidaSinú, has secured a dedicated land plot of 14,146 square meters for the hospital infrastructure.
The land was transferred to E.S.E. VidaSinú via Resolution 1066 on August 30, 2024. This site was segregated from a larger three-hectare municipal property and has already undergone the necessary studies and designs according to local land-use regulations.
To support the initiative, the Colombian national government announced an investment of 30,000 million pesos on October 3, aimed at strengthening the city's public health infrastructure.
