Monteros Sugar Cane Museum inaugurated in Tucumán

Governor Osvaldo Jaldo inaugurated the Sugar Cane Museum in Monteros, Tucumán, a project designed to preserve and celebrate the province's productive history. The museum serves as a central piece of a new cultural, educational, and tourism pole, which also integrates the House of Culture and Tourism and the Monteros Popular Art School.

A key historical feature of the museum is the recovery of one of the earliest sugarcane mills (trapiche) used in the province. The facility also includes the restoration of a building that previously served as a mill hospital and later as a local fire station. The inauguration was attended by various provincial ministers, legislators, and local mayors.
