Monterotondo Marittimo searches for missing Swiss national

Authorities in Monterotondo Marittimo are conducting searches for a Swiss national who went missing in the Frassine woods near the Serraiola area. The man is described as 1.80 meters tall, wearing a maroon shirt, green shorts, and sandals.

The municipality has issued specific guidance for residents, noting that the individual has significant cognitive fragility. He does not speak, does not understand Italian, and tends to hide in private spaces such as garages, gardens, or vegetation when frightened. Officials have requested that citizens check their private properties but urge them not to approach or shout at him to avoid causing him to flee. Instead, witnesses are advised to maintain visual contact from a distance and immediately contact emergency services via 112.
