Monterotondo police seize illegal nightclub during school party

State police have seized an illegal nightclub in Monterotondo, Rome, during a ‘Start School party’ organized to celebrate the beginning of the academic year. The venue, operating as a private club, was being used for public entertainment without the necessary authorizations for food and beverage sales.

During the raid, officers discovered severe safety violations, including emergency exits that were either unmarked or partially blocked, non-fireproof furniture, and an uncovered electrical panel. The event was advertised on social media, with attendees paying between 17 and 20 euros for entry. The owner and the event organizer have been reported to the judicial authorities.
