Monterotondo police seize venue during unauthorized school party
Police in Monterotondo have seized a private club and filed charges against its owner and organizer following an unauthorized event titled ‘Start School Party’. The event, which was advertised online to celebrate the start of the school year, was being held in a venue officially registered as a private club but was operating as a public entertainment venue without the necessary permits.
During the intervention by the Administrative Police Division of the Rome Police Headquarters, the party was in full swing with DJs and attendees. Investigations revealed that entry required guests to sign membership forms on-site and pay between 17 and 20 euros for a ticket that included a drink. Authorities determined the event lacked required authorizations for public entertainment and the service of food and beverages, while also noting critical issues regarding safety and building usability.
