Monterrei Water Park sees record visitor numbers

The Monterrei Water Park in Pereiro de Aguiar is experiencing a significant surge in popularity, with visitor numbers approaching record levels. The facility is currently seeing an average of 2,000 daily users, and projections suggest total attendance could exceed 120,000 visitors this summer.

This growth follows the recent inauguration of new facilities, including two high-speed kamikaze-style slides with an 11-meter drop and a new lazy river. The park has attracted visitors from across Galicia, northern Portugal, and various Spanish regions including Madrid, León, and Zamora.
