Monterrei Wine Fair 2026 Launches as Galicia Hosts Summer Wine Events

The XIX Monterrei Wine Fair opened in Verín, Spain, on 7 August 2026. Over three days the event offered guided tastings, showcooking sessions with chefs Begoña Vázquez and Miguel López, and a commented wine tasting led by sommelier Mariña Fernández Toro. Family activities were also provided in the Alameda.

On 28 August, the Galician group De Vacas performed its new show "Rebovina Divas Live" at the Vía Romana Adegas e Viñedos in Belesar, Ribeira Sacra. The outdoor concert combined live music, local wines, and a menu designed by A Faragulla, celebrating the region’s vineyards and culinary heritage.
