Mexico authorities investigate multiple deaths and suspected femicide

Authorities in Nuevo León and Coahuila are investigating several distinct incidents involving deaths and suspected violence.

In Monterrey, the State Attorney General's Office has arrested a mother and her partner for the alleged femicide of a two-year-old girl. The child died at the Hospital Metropolitano due to deep abdominal contusions. The suspects were apprehended in Guadalupe while traveling on a motorcycle; they were also found in possession of narcotics.

In San Pedro Garza García, investigators are examining a case involving two deaths at the Metropolitan Center and Hotel Safi. Roberto Eduardo Caballero Reyes reportedly fell from a building after allegedly causing the death of his partner, Yoalitzi Lizbeth Juárez Cabrera, through asphyxiation. A posthumous note was recovered from the scene.

In Saltillo, Coahuila, a 19-year-old woman, Yulissa Lizeth, died following a medical emergency shortly after receiving nail services. While social media speculation suggested a reaction to cosmetic products, a necropsy determined the cause of death was an acute myocardial infarction.
