Monterrey completes second stage of Huajuco Road Circuit
The Municipality of Monterrey has completed the second stage of the Huajuco Road Circuit with an investment exceeding 193 million pesos. This phase includes the operation of Acueducto Avenue and the lateral lanes of the Carretera Nacional.
Mayor Adrián de la Garza stated that these new roads provide alternative routes for residents in the southern part of the city, reducing total dependence on the Carretera Nacional. The Acueducto Avenue rehabilitation covers the stretch between Palmares and Carolco avenues, while the new lateral lanes on the Carretera Nacional extend from La Rioja Avenue to La Estanzuela. Approximately 95 percent of the total Huajuco Road Circuit project is now operational. The complete project involves a total investment of nearly 800 million pesos and includes vehicular bridges, road expansions, and a tunnel.
