Montes de Oca to host major job fair in San José

The local government of Montes de Oca is launching an employment initiative titled ‘Montes de Oca Te Emplea’ to connect local job seekers with the expanding business sector. The job fair is scheduled for September 23, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Plaza San Pedro, formerly known as the Outlet Mall, in the San José province.

Legal expert Larry Hans Arroyo Vargas of Bufete de Costa Rica advised participants to remain vigilant regarding their labor rights during the event. He noted that under Costa Rican law, preliminary agreements and offer letters carry legal weight, emphasizing the importance of clarifying salary, working hours, and social security benefits during initial negotiations.
