Montesarchio hosts child abuse prevention training sessions

The “Gli Stivali di Pollicino” project is launching two educational sessions in Montesarchio to combat child abuse and maltreatment. Promoted by the Centro Pollicino in collaboration with the Municipality of Montesarchio and supported by the Department for Family Policies, the initiative aims to strengthen prevention tools and build a more aware protection network for children and adolescents.

The first session, scheduled for October 16, 2026, will focus on tools for detecting and intervening in cases of sexual abuse. The second session, planned for October 23, 2026, will address the management and care of minors experiencing abuse or maltreatment, emphasizing coordinated interventions to ensure the well-being of the child.
