Montesilvano beach volleyball tournament advances to quarterfinals

The third Gold stage of the Campionato Italiano Assoluto di beach volley concluded its qualification rounds on the beach of Montesilvano, Italy. The main draw was set for Saturday, 1 August, with the top eight pairs in both the men’s and women’s brackets confirmed for the quarter‑finals on Sunday, 2 August.

Qualified women’s pairs include Alice Gradini / Federica Frasca, Chiara They / Sara Breidenbach, Erika Ditta / Giada Benazzi and Maria Rachele Mancinelli / Anna Pelloia, alongside four pairs that advanced through elimination rounds. The men’s quarter‑finalists feature Riccardo Iervolino / Matteo Marchesan, Marco Caminati / Enrico Rossi, Marco Viscovich / Davide Borraccino and Matteo Camozzi / Nicolò Siccardi, plus four pairs from the knockout stage.

The event also decides the Coppa Italia title. Notably, defending champions Manuel Alfieri / Alex Ranghieri were eliminated in the round of 16. Matches are streamed on the FIPAV YouTube channel, with semifinals and finals broadcast on Rai Sport, Rai Play, Rai News and Sky Sport Max.
