Montevergine Sanctuary construction completed, reopening pending

Construction work at the Montevergine Sanctuary has been completed. However, the reopening of the religious complex remains pending as authorities must still determine the specific timing and methods for access.

A meeting of the committee is expected to take place at the Prefecture within the month. This meeting will involve all relevant entities and organs to evaluate the conditions necessary for allowing pilgrims, visitors, and the faithful to return to the site. Key issues to be addressed include the reopening schedule, access protocols, and the means of transportation available to reach the Sanctuary.
