Montgomery County police report auto thefts and hate incident

The Montgomery County Department of Police released a summary of reported incidents for September 14, detailing various crimes across several districts.

In the 1st District, an auto theft was reported on Cove Lane. The 3rd District saw two separate airbag thefts from vehicles and an attempted commercial burglary at a school property on Robey Road.

In the 5th District, police recorded an auto theft on Herefordshire Way and a hate/bias incident at a middle school involving a racial slur written on a bookshelf. The 6th District reported two commercial burglaries and an auto theft, including a break-in at a business on Meem Avenue and another on South Frederick Avenue.
