Montpellier Hérault Rugby signs veteran scrum-half Sébastien Bézy and returns prop Reda Wardi

Montpellier Hérault Rugby announced the signing of experienced scrum-half Sébastien Bézy on a two‑year contract. The 34‑year‑old joins from Clermont Auvergne after more than 140 Top 14 appearances, a spell at Stade Toulousain and eight caps for the French national team.

The club also secured the return of prop Reda Wardi on a four‑year deal. The 30‑year‑old, a native of Montpellier, comes back after seven seasons with Stade Rochelais, having earned 18 caps for France and helped his former club win two European titles. His move is driven by both sporting ambition and a desire to be closer to family in his hometown.
