Montpellier manager criticizes refereeing after loss to Toulouse

Montpellier Hérault Rugby manager Joan Caudullo has criticized the video refereeing following his team's 40-18 defeat against Stade Toulousain in the Top 14.

Caudullo argued that two tries scored by Toulouse should have been reviewed and potentially overturned by the video official. Specifically, he claimed Antoine Dupont was offside by one meter during an 80-meter try sequence. He also questioned the legality of a try scored by Dupont in the 52nd minute, alleging the player handled the ball over an opponent to recover it.

While acknowledging his team's lack of efficiency and the overall superiority of Toulouse, Caudullo emphasized the need for better communication between players and officials to ensure video reviews are requested effectively.
