The Montreal Alouettes defeated the Ottawa Redblacks 46-16 on Thursday night at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium, extending their winning streak to seven games and improving their season record to 9-1.

Montreal quarterback Davis Alexander completed 20 of 23 passes for 260 yards and two touchdowns. Tyson Philpot also contributed two receiving touchdowns. Defensive back Kabion Ento played a pivotal role, forcing two turnovers and returning an interception for a touchdown.

The loss drops the Ottawa Redblacks to a 0-10 start for the season, making them only the ninth team in history to lose its first ten games. The defeat also extends Ottawa's losing streak to 16 games.
