Montreal Alouettes sign three American players to practice squad
The Montreal Alouettes have signed three American players to their practice squad to bolster their roster for the remainder of the season.
The new additions include wide receivers Arkell Smith and Cortez Braham Jr., along with defensive lineman Bryce Ganious. Smith, a 26-year-old veteran, previously played for the Edmonton Elks, where he recorded 50 catches for 550 yards and one touchdown over two seasons.
Braham Jr. joins the team following a stint with the Baltimore Ravens preseason camp. He has collegiate experience from the University of Memphis and the University of Nevada. Ganious, a defensive lineman from Wake Forest, is already familiar with the organization, having participated in the Alouettes’ most recent training camp.
