Montreal and Quebec City to host 2027 Women's Volleyball World Cup
Montreal and Quebec City have been officially selected to host the 2027 FIVB Women’s Volleyball World Cup. This marks the first time Canada will host this premier international competition, which will be held in conjunction with host cities in the United States.
The tournament is scheduled to run from August 20 to September 5, 2027. Montreal and Quebec City will host the Pool Play and the Round of 16 from August 20 to 28. The competition will then move to American cities, including Omaha, Nebraska; Orlando, Florida; and Anaheim, California, for the quarterfinals, semifinals, and the final.
This event represents the first time the FIVB Women’s Volleyball World Cup will be held in North America. Organizers expect the tournament to boost the profile of women’s sports and drive tourism to the Canadian host cities.
