Montreal Canadiens face St. Louis Blues in NHL matchup

The Montreal Canadiens are scheduled to play the St. Louis Blues in an NHL regular season game. The Canadiens enter the contest following two consecutive victories at the start of their road trip, having allowed only two goals during that span.

Montreal is expected to rely on goaltender Jacob Fowler for this matchup. The team's lineup features Juraj Slafkovský, while Adam Engström is projected to play in place of Arber Xhekaj. The Canadiens' defensive rotation will include Alexandre Carrier, Kaiden Guhle, and Mike Matheson to counter the Blues' top lines.

The St. Louis Blues are noted for their strong penalty-killing performance, having limited opponents to five goals through 11 games and scoring three short-handed goals.
