Montreal infrastructure repairs to close Décarie Expressway and Champlain Bridge

Major road closures are scheduled in Quebec from August 28 to August 31, 2026, to facilitate infrastructure repairs.

In Montreal, the Décarie Expressway (Highway 15) will be closed in the northbound direction from Friday at 10:30 p.m. until Monday at 5:00 a.m. The closure affects the area between exit 69 (Jean-Talon) and the entrance from Rue Paré, as well as the entrance from Boulevard Édouard-Montpetit. These works are necessary for beam repairs on the Des Jockeys and Ferrier street overpasses.

Simultaneously, the Samuel De Champlain Bridge will be closed toward Montreal. Authorities warn of significant traffic congestion and recommend that motorists plan their trips in advance and follow posted detour signs.
