Montreal's Théâtre de Verdure Extends Free Summer Outdoor Performances

The open‑air Théâtre de Verdure in Montreal’s La Fontaine Park will continue its free summer season through late August 2026, offering a diverse lineup of music, dance, circus, theatre and film in a 2,000‑seat amphitheatre. Highlights include a musical tribute to Quebec cultural icon Clémence DesRochers, a choreography‑driven creation by Andréa Peña, jazz and Afro‑Brazilian concerts, an improvisational pop collective, a youth concert by the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, and film screenings in partnership with CINEMANIA such as the César‑winning Nino starring Théodore Pellerin. The program aims to provide accessible, family‑friendly entertainment as the summer draws to a close, inviting residents and visitors to enjoy the city’s final outdoor cultural events.
