Montérégie municipalities announce Halloween festivities

Several cities in the Montérégie region of Quebec have unveiled their schedules for Halloween activities running from late October.

In Chambly, the Pôle culturel de Chambly will host a family event on October 23 featuring workshops, airbrush makeup, and a film screening. Carignan will offer an illuminated family route and a haunted house themed ‘Sanctuaire’ on October 31. Marieville, in collaboration with the 45e Groupe scout La Vallée des Monts, will host a haunted path on October 24.

Boucherville has planned two days of celebrations. On October 24, the city will host a ‘thrills’ evening in the Boisé de l’Ocarina and a pirate-themed event at the Marché public Lionel-Daunais. On October 31, a haunted house will be available at the Maison des jeunes La Piaule. To assist residents, Boucherville is providing an interactive map on its website to help families locate decorated homes.
