Monument of Frederick the Great in Szczecin
Archival records describe a postcard from 1901 depicting a bronze copy of the monument to Frederick the Great in Stettin (now Szczecin). The original marble statue, sculpted by Johann Gottfried Schadow, was erected in 1793 and later removed in 1877.
The bronze replica shown in the photograph was located at the Exerzierplatz in front of the Ständehaus. While the bronze copy is considered lost, the original marble version is held in the National Museum in Szczecin.
