Monóxido announces musical comeback and new lineup

The Spanish rock group Monóxido has announced its return to the music scene following a hiatus that began in 2020. The band, originating from Castilla la Vieja, plans to release new material, music videos, and resume live performances.

The comeback features a new vocal dynamic where Germán moves from bass to a dual-vocalist role alongside Rodaja J. Lonchas. The current lineup includes David de la Plaza on guitar, Pistolo on drums, and Roge on bass. The band's upcoming aesthetic is described as being influenced by Yugoslavian tracksuits and Eastern brutalism, while maintaining themes of everyday frustration and Iberian social commentary.
