Monza and Brianza opens nominations for Beato Talamoni Award 2026

The Province of Monza and Brianza has opened nominations for the 2026 Beato Talamoni Award, the region's highest honor. The award recognizes individuals, associations, and entities that have demonstrated exceptional commitment to the community and contributed to the civic, social, cultural, and solidarity-based growth of the territory.

Nominations are being accepted from citizens, associations, and administrators until September 15. The award aims to honor those who embody the values of Blessed Luigi Talamoni, specifically focusing on service, solidarity, and attention to the most vulnerable members of society.

The 2026 edition holds special significance as it is part of the centenary commemorations of the death of Blessed Luigi Talamoni (1926–2026). The award ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, at 5:00 PM at the Egidio Ghezzi Auditorium in Monza. The centenary program includes various cultural events, such as concerts, religious services, and exhibitions.
