Monza enters negotiations for Grasshoppers defender Luka Mikulić
Italian Serie A club Monza has entered negotiations with Swiss side Grasshoppers for the transfer of 21-year-old defender Luka Mikulić. The talks are currently ongoing to determine the terms of the move.
Mikulić, a left-footed center-back, has seen rapid career progression since moving to Switzerland from the Bosnian club Posušje. He has become a regular starter for Grasshoppers, appearing in the opening matches of the current season.
The transfer is notable due to Mikulić’s international situation; he recently withdrew from the Bosnia and Herzegovina U21 national team following a dispute with coach Branislav Krunić.
