Crans-Montana survivors hosted at Monza Grand Prix
The Automobile Club Milano hosted young survivors of the Crans-Montana New Year's Eve tragedy at the Monza National Circuit during the Italian Grand Prix weekend. The initiative aimed to provide the youths and their families a day of sport and leisure away from the long-term hospital environments required for their rehabilitation.
Representing the Oltre Crans-Montana Association, the survivors and their families used the occasion to advocate for increased public safety and prevention. Francesco Riva, president of the association, emphasized that safety in public spaces and leisure facilities is both a right for visitors and a duty for managers. Pietro Meda, president of the Automobile Club Milano, noted that the energy and resilience shown by the young people served as an inspiration to those at the event.
