Monza supporters announce boycott of Coppa Italia match against Avellino

The Curva Sud Davide Pieri, the organized supporters' group for Monza, has announced a boycott of the upcoming Coppa Italia match against Avellino scheduled for August 14 at the Brianteo stadium.

The decision stems from the club's choice to exclude the entrance ticket for this specific match from season ticket packages, breaking a long-standing tradition. The supporters' group stated that the move is not about the price of a single ticket, but rather a matter of “respect, consideration and belonging.”

In their official statement, the group expressed frustration over rising costs, including expensive tickets that have made popular seating sections less accessible, and the financial burden placed on loyal fans who support the team regardless of the league or results. They characterized the club's current approach to its fanbase as “unacceptable.”
