Monza Autodromo concession extended to 2044 with €12 million upgrade plan
The Automobile Club d’Italia (ACI) will manage the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza until 31 December 2044 after the Consorzio Villa Reale e Parco di Monza approved a concession renewal in a deliberation on 19 June 2026. The agreement includes a €12 million investment programme funded by ACI and SIAS, to be completed by the end of 2029. Planned works cover a full refurbishment of the Box building and service facilities, expansion of the Tribuna d’Onore, restoration of the historic Vecchie Rimesse, and upgrades to lighting, fencing and the water‑sewage network, improving safety, sustainability and the circuit’s resilience for large‑scale events.
The extension secures the continuation of the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix at Monza and paves the way for other major motorsport programmes. Monza will host the FIA World Endurance Championship season finale from 6‑8 November 2026, with tickets already on sale. Additionally, Liberty Media is planning a three‑day “Monza FuoriGP 2026” festival that will combine the Grand Prix with concerts, parades and night‑time entertainment, expanding the event’s appeal beyond traditional racing fans.
