Monzambano: Thieves flee after attempting to rob Caritas warehouses

A group of thieves attempted to break into the Caritas warehouses located at the San Michele church rectory in Monzambano. The intruders managed to force two iron gates and a basement door, but the attempt failed when the local parish priest, Don Riccardo Crivelli, was awakened by the noise and intervened, causing the criminals to flee empty-handed.

The Carabinieri of the Monzambano station have launched an investigation to identify those responsible and reconstruct the details of the break-in. The incident occurred during the night between Sunday and Monday.
