Monzón to host new technological and industrial innovation laboratory

The Instituto Tecnológico de Aragón (ITA) and the Monzón City Council have signed an agreement to establish a technological and industrial innovation laboratory in Monzón, Spain. The initiative aims to strengthen the local industrial sector by providing companies with access to training, technological diagnostics, and support for research and development (R&D) projects.

Part of the 'Monzón Digital' municipal strategy, the laboratory will focus on four strategic areas: promoting technological innovation, fostering R&D+i projects to increase competitiveness, creating technological infrastructure, and supporting technology-based entrepreneurship.

Located in the Monzón Digital building, the facility will feature a permanent ITA contact point and a virtual collaboration space. Services will include specialized training in digitalization, Industry 4.0, sustainability, and energy efficiency, as well as workshops on emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), robotics, and advanced manufacturing.
