Mookie Betts hits Dodgers' 10,000th home run in Los Angeles era

Mookie Betts hit the 10,000th home run in Los Angeles Dodgers franchise history during a game against the Miami Marlins. The historic solo shot occurred in the first inning off a splitter from Tyler Phillips.

Following Betts, Max Muncy hit a solo home run to give the Dodgers an early 2-0 lead. However, the Dodgers were unable to maintain the advantage. Starter Tyler Glasnow struggled with control, allowing four runs in less than five innings, and the Dodgers' offense was limited to only four hits throughout the game.

The Miami Marlins ultimately overcame the early deficit to win 4-3, ending the Dodgers' eight-game winning streak. The loss also means the Dodgers have not yet mathematically secured their spot for a 14th consecutive postseason appearance.
