Moomin and Pikmin character collaborations announced for Japanese retail

Belle Maison is launching a new inclusive clothing series featuring Moomin characters on September 4, 2026. This collaboration marks the first time the Moomin brand has been used for inclusive apparel, which is designed to be easy to wear for individuals with physical disabilities or illnesses. The collection includes pajamas and long-sleeved T-shirts featuring Moomin and Little My, utilizing snap buttons on sleeves and sides to assist with dressing and caregiving.

Separately, the retailer Avail has announced the release of Pikmin plush mascots starting September 12, 2026. The collection includes blue, red, and yellow Pikmin varieties, available both in physical stores and through their online shop. Due to high demand, sales are limited to one item per person.
