Moomin: Midsummer Madness to launch on Nintendo Switch in 2026

Crossbridge Game Studios has announced that ‘Moomin: Midsummer Madness’ will be released for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on November 12, 2026. The game is a point-and-click adventure inspired by the book ‘Moominsummer Madness’ by Swedish-Finnish author Tove Jansson.

The narrative follows Moomintroll, Little My, and other characters as they navigate a journey following a flood in Moominvalley. Players will explore environments, solve puzzles, and engage in dialogues, utilizing a character-swapping mechanic where different characters possess unique abilities to overcome obstacles. The game features hand-drawn illustrations inspired by Jansson’s original works and includes an integrated hint system to assist players with puzzles.

The title will be available in both digital and physical formats for single-player use and will include support for Brazilian Portuguese.
