Moomintroll: Winter’s Warmth released for PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2

Hyper Games and Kakehashi Games have released the puzzle adventure game ‘Moomintroll: Winter’s Warmth’ for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. The new versions offer improved graphics and frame rates compared to previous iterations.

Players who already own the Nintendo Switch version can upgrade to the Switch 2 edition for a fee. The game is also available on PC via Steam and the original Nintendo Switch. Physical editions for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch are being produced in partnership with iam8bit, with a collector’s edition scheduled for release on October 16.

Inspired by Tove Jansson’s ‘Moominland Midwinter’, the story follows Moomintroll as he explores a snow-covered Moominvalley, solves environmental puzzles, and meets new inhabitants. The main campaign is estimated to take approximately seven hours to complete.
