Moominvalley Park to host autumn Harvest event

Moominvalley Park in Hanno, Saitama Prefecture, will host its autumn event, “Moominvalley Park Harvest,” from September 12 to October 25, 2026. The event features the debut of a new character, Yoksak, from the novel “Moominpappa's Memoirs.” Yoksak, described as a laid-back character who enjoys sleeping in hammocks, is commemorated with the “Yoksak's Laying Terrace,” a 320-square-meter lakeside area equipped with large cushions for relaxation.

Other attractions include the “Apple Pop Playtime!” interactive show at the Enma Theater, seasonal decorations such as autumn-colored umbrellas and apple-themed balloons, and lakeside fireworks displays on weekends and holidays. The park will also offer limited-edition autumn-themed food and merchandise, including apple sweet potato pancakes and themed art lattes.

To coincide with the event, various discount campaigns for one-day passes are available, including the “Children's Support Campaign,” a “U22 Pass” for those aged 22 and under, and special offers for residents of Tokyo and Gunma prefectures. Additionally, a special promotion offers free admission for guests aged 65 and older on Respect for the Aged Day.
