Moonfin Magnus Ostrów faces relegation as Chris Holder underperforms and new rider sought

The Moonfin Magnus Ostrów Wielkopolski speedway team is enduring a disastrous season, sitting near the bottom of the PGE Ekstraliga table. Coach Tomasz Gapiński criticised Australian rider Chris Holder for repeatedly avoiding media interviews and delivering weak performances that have contributed to the team's poor results. Both Holder and team official Gleb Czugunow have been accused of evading journalists, prompting further frustration within the club.

In response to the crisis, the club is exploring a replacement for Holder. Young Australian Tate Zischke is being considered as a reserve rider, but contractual negotiations must be completed before the end of the regular season, delaying any immediate impact. The team fears relegation if performance does not improve, and Gapiński emphasizes the need to “hold together” and secure enough points to stay in the league.
