Moonriders releases 50th anniversary album and announces winter tour

Japanese rock band Moonriders has released their 50th-anniversary album, ‘e. d morrison’. The title is an anagram of the band’s name and marks their first original album in four years. The 10-track collection features new compositions from all current members, including first-time contributions from Wataru Sawabe and Yusuke Sato. The album also incorporates recordings based on demos from late original members Toru Okada and Tetsuro Kashibuchi.

To celebrate the milestone, the band has announced ‘The Winter Super Moon’ live performance scheduled for December 1 at the Tokyo International Forum Hall C. The concert will feature guest appearances by Taeko Onuki, Michiko Shimizu, and Maki Nomiya. Additionally, Moonriders will embark on a release tour throughout September, with stops in Osaka, Nagoya, Shibuya, and Oita.
