Mora and Bajo win Rallysprint de Carbayín; Macías and Contreras set mountain bike record

In Spain, the tenth edition of the Rallysprint de Carbayín was won by the duo José Manuel Mora and Iván Bajo, driving a Škoda Fabia N5, with a final time of 25:27. Manuel García Vilar and David Fernández Villa finished second in a Citroën C3 Rally2, 40.5 seconds behind the leaders. The third position went to José Manuel Martínez Díaz and Irene Serrano Granda in a Ford Fiesta R5. The event saw 101 teams start, with 86 completing the course. Notably, the vehicle of team number 20, Daniel Suárez and Oliverio Manuel Rodríguez, was destroyed by fire during the race.

In Argentina, mountain bikers Álvaro Macías and Fernando Contreras secured a historic victory at the 32nd edition of the Rally Trasmontaña in Tucumán. By winning, the duo set a new record for the most titles as a pair, achieving five consecutive victories from 2021 to 2024. Despite challenging conditions caused by rain and mud, they completed the 41-kilometer circuit in 2 hours, 17 minutes, and 26 seconds, finishing nearly eight minutes ahead of the second-place team, Luciano Gay and Juan Manuel Nardolillo.
