Mora IK appoints Mikael Ahlerup as interim club director
Mora IK has appointed Mikael Ahlerup as interim club director following the dismissal of Johan Strömwall. The club's board cited leadership, development, and economic challenges as the reasons for Strömwall's departure.
Ahlerup, a former CEO of AIK Fotboll, moves from his position on the board to lead the organization through its current financial and organizational crisis. In addition to managing the club's direction, Ahlerup is tasked with recruiting a new sports director, a position that has been vacant since Andreas Hägglund left earlier this year.
Ahlerup indicated that the club has ‘long-standing plans’ that are expected to be announced to the public in the near future.
