The rapper Morad has been detained in Barcelona following a confrontation with the Guardia Urbana. The incident occurred at the intersection of Pau Claris and Mallorca streets while officers were identifying two individuals for riding scooters without helmets.
According to reports, the artist recorded and criticized the officers before being asked for identification, which he did not have. During the encounter, Morad allegedly struck a police officer in the arm, leading to his arrest for an assault on authority.
This event follows several recent legal issues for the artist, including a June arrest involving a fight in a parking lot and a previous detention in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat for violating a restraining order.
