Moraes Musical Moreira debuts at Teatro Castro Alves in Salvador

Directed by Ana Paula Bouzas, the show utilizes theater, music, and dance to revisit key moments in Moreira's career, including his role in forming the Novos Baianos and his influence on the trios elétricos and Brazilian popular music (MPB). The narrative features characters such as the “Poeta-Cantador” and the “Vaqueiro do Som,” accompanied by the “Bloco do Prazer” within a scenic environment that blends reality with fantasy. The production also incorporates traditional Northeastern Brazilian dances.
