Morante de la Puebla to return to Las Ventas on October 12

Morante de la Puebla is set to return to the Las Ventas bullring in Madrid on October 12, marking his appearance on the Día de la Hispanidad. This return comes exactly one year after his impactful performance in 2025, where he famously announced a temporary retirement.

The bullfighting event, managed by Plaza 1, features a lineup that includes the confirmation of the alternative for Aragonese bullfighter Aarón Palacio. The trio will be completed by Mexican bullfighter Héctor Gutiérrez, a winner of the Copa Chenel. The bulls for the event will come from the Garcigrande and Núñez del Cuvillo ranches.

This comeback follows a period of high demand for Morante, who recently experienced sold-out performances in El Puerto de Santa María. The agreement concludes months of negotiations aimed at securing one of the season's most significant figures for the autumn fair.
