Morbihan: 14 companies approved to create 106 jobs via Michelin agreement

Following the announcement of the Michelin site closure in Vannes, a revitalization convention between the State and Michelin is driving economic recovery in the Morbihan region.

During a technical committee meeting presided over by Sub-Prefect Agnès Callou, 14 new company applications were approved for financial support. These projects, which include companies such as RYO Entreprise, Chesnin MCE, and Aserti International, are expected to create 106 permanent jobs (CDI) in the Vannes employment basin.

This latest round of support brings the total number of permanent jobs committed under the revitalization agreement to 284. Local authorities and economic actors aim to exceed the original target of 299 jobs through ongoing investigations and upcoming committees scheduled for early 2027.
