Morelia launches poetry and children's literature calls for Fillm

The government of Morelia has launched calls for participation for two specialized literary events as part of the Fifth International Book and Reading Fair of Morelia (Fillm), scheduled from September 25 to October 4.

The first event, the “Resonancia” poetry encounter, will take place from October 2 to 4. It is aimed at poets and individuals over the age of 16. Activities include poetry exploration workshops, readings by the National and International Academy of Poetry, and sessions led by guests such as Enzia Verduchi and Ana Corvera.

The second event, “Nidos,” focuses on literature and poetry for children and youth. It will be held on October 3 and 4, targeting educators, writers, parents, and caregivers. The program includes conferences, editorial presentations, and a writing clinic led by Adolfo Córdova. While most activities are free and open to the public, certain workshops have limited capacity.
