Morelia to host 15th International Beer Festival this weekend

The 15th edition of the International Beer Festival, also referred to as the Oktoberfest Cervecero, will take place this weekend at Plaza La Paz in the historic center of Morelia, Michoacán. Scheduled for October 10 and 11, the event aims to strengthen local tourism and gastronomy, with organizers projecting an economic impact of approximately 2 million pesos.

The festival will feature over 100 brands of Michoacán, national, and German imported beers. Approximately 35 companies from the sector will participate, offering tastings, pairings, and sales. The event expects an attendance of between 700 and 1,500 people.

In addition to the beer selection, the festival includes a gastronomic area featuring traditional Michoacán cuisine prepared by local cooks. The cultural program will include live music, dance, and various artistic presentations, with performances ranging from medieval music to urban rhythms.
