Morelia: Young man shot dead inside cafe

A young man, identified as Rodrigo Alejandro, was shot and killed inside the La Rose Coffee & Bistro in the Nueva Chapultepec neighborhood of Morelia, Michoacán. The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon while the victim was seated at a table with his girlfriend, preparing to pay the bill.

According to reports, two individuals traveling on a motorcycle arrived at the establishment. One of the suspects entered the premises and fired multiple shots at the victim. The attackers fled the scene on the motorcycle toward the Las Américas area.

Emergency responders and municipal police arrived at the scene, where paramedics confirmed the victim had died from multiple gunshot wounds. Investigators recovered approximately 18 shell casings both inside and outside the business. The State Attorney General's Office (FGE) and forensic specialists have launched an investigation and processed the crime scene.
